Who is it for?

King's Foodbank is a place where anyone, in times of hardship, can come and receive an emergency bag of food and ongoing support until they are back on their feet.

We aim to make sure that you will always be made to feel welcome when visiting for the first time. You can enjoy a hot drink and biscuits while we take a few details to ensure that we give you the best support we can.  If you have any questions or concerns about your eligibility, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Food Donations

We are always grateful for any donations we receive, especially non perishables such as –

  • Baked Beans

  • Soup

  • UHT milk

  • Tinned meats/fruit

  • Pasta

  • Rice

All of these items help us to make up a well balanced bag of food.

If you are able to help us to meet the needs of people in Darlington, you can do so in a number of ways. We have designated donation boxes in various supermarkets around town or you can bring donations to the King’s Centre.

Financial Donations

We are so thankful for any financial help to support the work of foodbank in Darlington.

Volunteer at King's

Volunteers are priceless, we could not deliver this vital service without them. We always need help packing bags and collecting food, handing out parcels and warehouse duties. If you would like to become part of this great team, please contact our office, or fill in the online form and we will get in touch.
